Applied Behavior Analysdiscipline is a scientific disciple focused on socially significant improvements in the everyday lives of children, teens, and adults. 

While ABA strategies can and do effectively create positive outcomes in business, sports, safety, and many other fields, many practitioners choose to specialize in providing services to individuals with disabilities. 

The most common credential held by individuals practicing ABA is Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) signifies that the practitioner has met the board's certification requirements. 

The Magnolia Center practitioners utilize a trauma-informed approach to providing services. Many of those we serve have some life event contributing to undesirable behaviors. Trauma can stem from events such as the child not being able to gain access to enjoyable items due to degradations in their communication skills or several other factors. Knowing this, we utilized scientifically viable ABA practices to produce the best outcomes for the children we serve. 

When you are ready to request our services, you can contact us by phone, email, or by using the link below. Once we have made our first contact, our intake coordinator will schedule a time for you to speak with a behavior analyst. 

During the first meeting, the behavior analyst will gather information regarding the child's needs. Depending on the child's history and needs, this initial meeting will likely take a few hours.

After your initial meeting, your behavior analyst will establish a time to interact primarily with the child. Analysts at the Magnolia Center use standardized tools to evaluate the child's skills and deficiencies. 

Our approach is to use these assessment tools in a way that supports us in achieving a clear picture of the child's needs. This stated, our analysts and technicians are skilled at making these assessments a positive interaction for the child.      

Every child at the Magnolia Center receives an ABA service plan that is written specifically for them. Our plans focus on removing barriers to the child's success and teaching new skills to support the child after services have ended.
